Dj A-Trak aka KanYe West's DJ is releasing a Nike assisted album titled: A-Trak - Running Man: Nike + Original Run.
Lupe Fiasco was scheduled to appear on the album but due to clearance problems didn’t make it. HOWEVER, up & come-ah Kid Cudi replaced him on the track.

Creative Recreation

Creative Recreation was officially launched in Orange County, California in the Fall of 2002. The founders of Creative Recreation noticed a huge void in the footwear market. Everyone was offering either dress shoes to be worn with a suit or athletic inspired sneakers that were considered unacceptable at most formal functions.

Footwear for young professionals with style was no where to be found. Finally, two long time friends, who were already enjoying successful careers in the footwear industry, decided they would be the ones to change the game. Realizing that this generation was not going to follow in the same footsteps as the one before, Creative Recreation began their own journey. They realized early on, that being successful in today's world economy did not require wearing a suit and tie. It was just the opposite. This generation is in control of its destiny. This generation is more creative and certainly more inventive in terms of recreation; thus the stylish sneaker was born.

Upper Playground - Adidas Originals

Upper Playground is releasing an exclusive sneaker series with Adidas Originals. The new shoe line features four signature designs from fine artists Sam Flores, David Choe, Herbert Baglione, and hip hop artist Aesop Rock. Beginning July 17, 2008, Upper Playground will release a new sneaker every Thursday. Each sneaker design will be available for sale at Upper Playground retail stores and online at beginning at 8 am PST. Each pair of sneakers will retail for $150.00. LIMITED QUANTITY'S!

Today! Upper Playground releases the first of four collaboration with Adidas Originals. This debut launch will feature the works of Herbert Baglione, a Sao Paulo-based artist who has won recognition in his homeland of Brazil as well as Latin America and Europe. Known for his paradoxical subjects of individuality, death, and the paths we choose in lives, Baglione cleverly express these in bold black patterns on white background. “My sneaker design expresses my personal taste in shoes. I don’t like colorful tennis shoes that are full of designs or anything that I feel is more than necessary. I believe being simple ends up being more challenging,” stated Baglione. The UUpper Playground x Adidas Originals - Herbert Baglione sneaker will be available in limited number at Upper Playground online stores and retail locations starting this Thursday, July 17th, at 9 am PT.
